Sutton's Family Italian Restaurant

I took the family here for Mother's Day 2024, and this was our first experience with Sutton's. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hostess who seated us moments later as we had a 7 PM reservation for a group of four. I get the feeling that they were understaffed as people were waiting, yet not all tables were full. Perhaps Sutton's is experiencing some of the same difficulties as other establishments are with finding people who are worth training who will work. We were greeted promptly by our server, and drink orders were taken. Soon after our food orders were taken and the food came out shortly after that. All of the dishes ordered were good. The pasta wasn't overcooked, and the sauces were flavorful. The only complaint made was made by my lovely wife, who, on Mother's Day, didn't get enough sauce to go with her pasta that was supporting her chicken parmesean. Aside from the sauce issue, we all enjoyed ourselves. We are looking forward to our next visit. Update to my earlier review from Mothers Day 2024, 7/16/24. My family and I were all greeted with smiles and welcoming greetings. The manager came over and introduced his name and listed the specials. Drink orders were taken and shortly returned. The food and the portions were very good, and no one left hungry. Our waitress was very attentive to us and our orders. I must say that this was the kind of experience that I have come to expect from the nicer restaurant. I will be returning to Suttons again. Great work, Sutton's!

Collin is the best!!! I’ve visited several times now, as he recommended by far one of my favorite Vegetarian dishes. He goes above and beyond across the board! My food, always right on the money. Best quality service and food, so much, I keep coming back! On my birthday, Collin really touched my heart. I love his Spirit! Thank you!!

What a pleasant and unexpected surprise. I have only been to this restaurant once and that was a couple years after they opened. I was not a fan during that visit so I had not been back. I wanted to try something different so my husband and I went back today and I can say with 100% certainty we will be back. I want to shout out to our waitress, Brittney V., who was literally one of the most genuine and friendly waitresses we have had. I was especially thirsty and ended up getting like 6 water refills. Not once did my water glass get empty. We got the Pepperoni Pups appetizer and they were good but the star was the marinara sauce. It elevated the dish. I typically like marinara but am not a fan of tomatoes. The marinara had a great depth of flavor. My husband started to ask her “Which do you prefer? The Manzo Pasta or” she charismatically cut him off “The Manzo, that is my favorite thing on the menu”. She said he could have said anything else and she still would have picked the Manzo. We were in no way disappointed with our entrees. I tried my husband’s Manzo and in my opinion it had some Cajun undertones. It was delicious. I got the Baked Chicken & Broccoli and I was also not disappointed. It had a more “traditional parm” flavor. For both entrees the sauce to pasta ratio was perfect. The one constructive criticism comment I would say would be garlic bread. It is available for purchase, but personally, I would have appreciated a piece coming with the meal to sop up all of that delicious sauce.
